ipta Gomes is a dedicated academic and researcher currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), specializing in non-planar graphs and advanced graph algorithms. He earned his MSc in Computer Science from the University of Ulster, Belfast, in 2023, and another MSc in Computer Science from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), graduating Summa Cum Laude for his outstanding academic performance. He completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Information Systems at AIUB. He has served as a Lecturer at Notre Dame College's ICT Department and currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at AIUB. His research spans diverse areas, including Computer Vision, Graph Theory graph, and Underwater Image Processing. Among his achievements, he was the 2nd Runner-Up at the 2016 National Hackathon organized by Bangladesh's ICT Ministry.
